Be Thankful, In Remembrance

On this day, and all days, we remember those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attack, we remember those who have lost their lives in the years of fighting since then, and we pray for those who continue to sacrifice for our freedom.  It doesn’t really matter if you are for it or against it, as the fighting continues on with men and women, young and old, putting themselves in danger out of duty, for honor, for their country. The reality remains that Americans continue fighting on the other side of the world.
So, on this day, and every day, say a prayer that our soldiers will come home safely, to the warm comfort of those they love.  And be thankful for the freedoms, gifts, abilities and opportunities we so easily take for granted.
