Wine of the Day: Tenuta Tascante “Buonora” Etna Bianco DOC

Steely, crisp, and mineral-rich, Tenuta Tascante “Buonora” Etna Bianco DOC ($21) tastes like a combination of the sea and sunshine. Slightly briny, with a mineralic core, and juicy citrus, the Sicilian white wine is ideal for enjoying with seafood and shellfish, i.e. a nice wine if you are enjoying a feast of the seven fishes this holiday. Produced from Carricante, an indigenous grape variety for Mount Etna known for its high acidity and abundant productivity. With nice texture, melding with the racy acidity and earthiness, Tenuta Tascanate Buonora grapes are sourced from cool-climate vineyards on the north and east faces of the volcano’s slopes. #Cheers
