Domaines Ott Château de Selle for National Rosé Day!

Even if you never drink pink, today is the day to do so, as it is National Rosé Day! The second Saturday in June celebrates all things pink in your glass, and today, we are raising a gorgeous glass of Domaines Ott Château de Selle Rosé from the heart of Rosé country in Provence, France. Domaines Ott is one of my favorite producers, from its everyday sipping option, BY.OTT, to the luxurious Château de Selle Rosé.

The Côtes de Provence Rosé blends predominantly Grenache with Cinsault, Syrah, and Mourvedre grown in limestone-filled, sun-drenched soils with Mediterranean Sea influences. With a pale salmon pink hue with tinges of orange and gold, the elegant selection opens with aromas of the garrigue, layering woody herbs de Provence with wildflower, lemon leaf, and apple blossom. The palate begins with rich citrus, orchard fruit, and red berry flavors, leading to subtle spiciness and crushed stone. This is the wine to enjoy throughout the sunny summer days, sipping with fresh shellfish and seafood or simply on its own to fully experience each element of its elegant palate.
