We left DC at 5:30pm Tuesday and landed in Johannesburg at 5:30pm Wednesday. It is raining, but hopefully that will just last tonight. Tomorrow we are off to the Kapama Game Reserve and 3 days of open air game drives and lots of Amarula…
Besides the tasty Amarula (and the pure beauty of traveling business class,) best surprise yet is the SA table wine… I had a Sauvignon Blanc coming over on the plane that was so yummy, with lots of minerals and just the right amount of citrus and acid…not overwhelming as some Sauv Blancs can be.
