This notice just landed in my inbox….lucky for me the market is in the neighborhood; for those that it is not I would say this is a worth a trip over to the Junius Heights hood for the honey from the Texas Honey Bee Guild alone…it is divine.
Junius Heights Community Market
Saturday, May 26th, two o’clock
At the Garden Cafe
We are proud to present the First Annual Junius Heights Community Market this weekend at the Garden Café! We will be hosting local vendors and generally good folks providing a wide variety of products built, made and grown out of passion and a love for life.
The event will feature live music by The County Fringe and other local players, food and drinks, and of course a variety of vendors selling locally grown produce, crafts and artworks.
Be sure to hang around after the market for an exclusive first screening of the DFW Truck Farm documentary. Light snacks will be provided.
- Comeback Creek Farm
- Texas Honey Bee Guild
- Holy Kombucha
- Cita’s Salsa
- Dave Pennington (Aquaponics/Eco-Handyman)
- DFW Truck Farm (Documentary screening at sunset)
- Rae Lilly Farm
The market will be held Saturday, May 26th at 2:00pm in the garden. We hope to see everyone there for what will undoubtedly be the start of something sustainably awesome.
