Tickets on sale now for our Dallas Uncorked 5th annual wine dinner benefiting The June Jones Foundation.  The dinner will take place July 30, starting at 6:30pm at Sevy’s Grill with wines generously provided by Austin Hope of Hope Family Wines, a stunning winery located in Paso Robles, in the heart of California’s Central Coast.

We love this event each year, our biggest and best as we get to help out our dear friend, Coach June Jones and his incredible foundation which focuses on helping various children’s charities, namely his Urban You Turn project in Dallas, a mentorship program which helps bring at risk, inner city kids of Dallas together with mentors in our community including athletes, teachers, pastors and individuals.  A great organization actively helping the children of Dallas.

Once again the multi-course dinner will feature incredible pairings from Chef Jim “Sevy” Severson, expertly paired with wines from Hope Family, like their stellar Treana Red blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, and one of my favorites from Hope, their Troublemaker, created in honor of Austin and his early days as a child working at the winery with his father.

As always the dinner will conclude with a one-on-one chat with Coach June led by his childhood friend, Gary Cogill, talking about the foundation and their work, along with the upcoming SMU football season.

And we will once again feature our always impressive silent auction filled with items ranging from wine country get aways and guest house stays, 2014 SMU football game sideline passes, dining packages, wine packages and large format wine bottles…this year including an incredible 3 liter 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon donated by our friends at Raymond Vineyards from their Rutherford Estate in Napa Valley.  And, we want to say a special thanks to our friend Vic Salvino for his continued support and generous sponsorship of this dinner.
