I am thrilled to be a part of the Les Dames d’Escoffier International organization, recently invited to be a part of our Dallas chapter along side our friends Chef Janice Provost, Sommelier Courtney Lusher, Chef Joanne Bondy, restauranteur Janet Cobb, Chef Tiffany Derry and so, so many others, all of which will be a part of our 2014 Raiser Grazer event on September 28. The evening event will take place at the recently refurbished Shed at the Dallas Farmers Market with a focus on fresh, locally grown products from our local and regional farmers, elevated into flavorful dishes through the creative talents of our Dallas Dames.  And of course, we’ll have some great wine to pair from Texas wineries like Fall Creek, Light Catcher and Pedernales, as well as national and international selections from wineries like Perrin, Merryvale, Hahn and Robert Hall.

Les Dames d’Escoffier International – Dallas is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization with the goal to support and promote the achievement of women in the food, hospitality and fine beverage industries, fostering excellence through educational and charitable activities. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the chapter’s scholarship fund, endowments, and programs dedicated to advancing women in the food, fine beverage and hospitality professions.
