Last Sunday night under The Shed at the Dallas Farmers Market the 97 women members of the Dallas Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International celebrated their annual Raiser Grazer event, marking their 30 anniversary of being a chapter in the city.
This year the annual event was presented by Thermador & Capital Distributing and took on a bit of a French theme, decorating the outdoor space to resemble the outdoor countryside of Provence with buckets of wild lavender & woody herbs resembling the wild herbs of the region under a canopy of bistro lights and twinkling crystal chandeliers.

Les Dames d’Escoffier International is the only organization of its kind, an invitation only membership of outstanding women who have reached a level of distinction in the fields of culinary, fine beverage and hospitality.
Through events, like the annual Raiser Grazer, these women raise funds to help other women throughout the city & state extend their education in these fields through grants, endowments and scholarships, helping change not only her life but the lives of her entire community.
I am proud to be a member of the Dallas Chapter and the work we do. Other Dallas Dames include Chef Janice Provost / Pairgi, Sommelier Courtney Luscher / The Grape, Chef Jill Bates / Fearing’s, Chef Dunia Borga / La Duni, Chef Joanne Bondy / Stocks & Bondy, Chef Sharon Hage, and D Magazine Best Bartender Leann Berry / Komali.
Photos from the night were captured by Dame Lisa Stewart / Lisa Stewart Photography and these included in the post from our dear friend, Frankey Dey.
Thanks to all who joined the Dames for a beautiful evening doing good for others. More information about LDE-DALLAS on the website.
“It was a Dame good time.”
