With passion and joy Simon Family estate secures its place in the world of Napa’s new winemaking families. Their journey began almost 20 years ago as participants in the Napa Valley Reserve where they worked alongside other enthusiasts to secure fruit, purchase barrels, produce wines, and bottle them under their personal label in small lots. The work they did there taught the Simon family the business, leading to today with their small production, premium wines becoming available to the consumer.
Simon Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from Coombsville, St. Helena, and Oakville AVA fruit, producing a harmonious blend of cool and warmer climate valley floor fruit. The wine is aged for 18 months in predominantly new French oak, giving power and strength to the bold wine.
The resulting selection is textured and well-crafted, with layers of black fruit, licorice, pencil lead, and toasted cedar. A big wine that will age nicely for the next decade, or enjoyed now after allowing the wine some time to breathe. #cheers
