Working sustainably to care for Mother Earth, Petaluma Valley’s Keller Estate crafts elegant, cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines with character. The first vines were planted by the family in 1989 and 11 years later, the winery debuted its first release. It is the southernmost winery in Sonoma County, highly influenced by the Pacific Ocean, with morning and evening fog rolling in from San Pablo Bay, settling on the fruit, locking in acidity and freshness.
From the estate La Cruz Vineyard, filled with clay soils mixed with marine sediments, Keller Estate La Cruz Chardonnay highlights the maritime climate of its Petaluma Gap location with lively, refreshing, balanced fruit. Daytime temperatures in the region are warm, ripening fruit to create layers of tropical and orchard fruit notes like mango, guava, green apple, and pear. The fruit is complemented by a richness of aging in French oak, adding honey, vanilla notes, and warm spiciness. A beautiful wine to enjoy with roast chicken, crab bisque, or creamy lemon risotto.
