Instilling inspiration and exploration, Silk & Spice wines were created to honor the adventurous spirit of Portuguese sailors traveling the spice route to Asia during the 15th century. The wines showcase native Portuguese white and red varieties producing approachable blends that reveal an authenticity with rich character and personality.

Silk & Spice Red Blend brings together 35% Touriga Nacional, 35% Alicante Bouschet, and 15% Baga, with 10% Syrah and 5% Tinta Roriz. The first few varieties are known for their robust, powerful structure, producing inky, dark purple, thick-skinned grapes which create rich, luscious wines. The blend showcases the three varieties, adding a bit of smoky, spicy Syrah and fleshy Tinta Roriz to round out the profile and deliver balanced flavor. Bold tannins are kept in check with freshness and juicy acidity, finishing long and smooth. A perfect wine to enjoy as our evenings shift from winter to spring. #cheers
