My grand-mother raised me with an entertaining attitude and keen ability to throw a great party. She always said that you just hope when you throw that party that the people you know and love will come.  My heart was overflowing with gratitude on April 16 as we threw our Dallas Uncorked 10th anniversary celebration, toasting friends, old and new, to 10 very successful years.

With the help of a generous donation of stellar wines from Aveniu Brands and my buddy Gina Willemen, and always tasty bites from our friend, Chef Andrew Ormsby, we welcomed a sold-out crowd of over 100 guests to raise a glass with us at the recently renamed “Salt” outdoor venue on the edge of downtown Dallas.

Thanks in part to the great attendance we had for our event we were able to donate two complete birthday parties for kids in Dallas to The Birthday Party Project, and make a similar donation to Charity:Water.org.  And special thanks to Frankey Dey, for taking the amazing photos from the night, and of course, my Gary.
