Harvest is already in full swing in many parts of California (yes….very early this year), which has us that much more excited for our 5th annual Harvest Dinner on October 12, partnering once again with our friend Janice Provost at Parigi, her quaint neighborhood spot inspired by her love of France with so much of her daily products sourced from local farmers and producers.
This year we add an extra special treat by featuring the incredible wines of Jordan Winery and Vineyards located in Sonoma’s Alexander Valley, as well as some of the products grown and produced in the expansive garden, orchard and olive groves on the Jordan property, including their stellar olive oil.
Always giving back, the dinner with benefit two wonderful local charities – The Stewpot, offering a safe haven for homeless and at-risk individuals of Dallas, providing resources for basic survival needs as well as opportunities to start a new life. The Stewpot has been the charity we have supported most with this dinner each of the past five years and we are excited to be able to give back to them to help their incredible work again. We will also benefit Café Momentum this year, a charity close to Janice’s heart as she was one of the co-founders of it. Café Momentum is a Dallas-based restaurant and culinary training facility, transforms young lives by equipping our community’s most at-risk youth with life skills, education and employment opportunities to help them achieve their full potential.
It is sure to be a fantastic night, especially when you add in the flair and humor of Jordan Director of Marketing and Communications, Lisa Mattson, who will join us for this special night….along with of course me and Gary. We have a limited number of tickets available so don’t hesitate to get yours. Tickets are $85 each, available here.
