Fort Worth Native Rollin Soles co-founded the prestigious Argyle winery in Willamette Valley in the late 1980’s, around the same time he purchased a piece of property in the region’s Chehalem Mountains that would eventually become ROCO Winery. In 2001, he and his wife Corby Stonebraker-Soles, founded their ROCO Winery and planted its estate Wits’ End Vineyard.
Always a lover of sparkling wine, Rollin crafted his first ROCO RMS Brut ($65) traditional method sparkler with the 2013 vintage. Though the winery has made a name for itself with stunning, stunning Pinot Noir offerings, their sparklers could soon be the scene stealer. Rich and textured the classic method sparkler layering spiced vanilla, shortbread and cream melding with red apple, berry and lemon. #wineoftheday #cheers
