Wine of the Day: Chehalem “Inox” Chardonnay

Crisp and lively, Chehalem “Inox” Willamette Valley Chardonnay ($20) showcases the character of the variety. 100% stainless steel fermented and aged, allowing the vibrant elegance, and luscious texture of the wine to shine. From predominantly sustainably-grown, estate vineyards, and produced with a focus on environmental consciousness. The winery achieved B Corp Certification in 2018 ensuring the winery meets the highest standard of verified social and environmental performance, Chehalem leads with their focus on protecting Mother Earth.

Aged 7 months in the stainless steel tanks, with a whisper of a golden yellow color, the refreshing “Inox” Chardonnay opens with floral aromas of honeysuckle and lemon blossom, followed by white peach, lemon peel, orchard fruits. An easy wine to enjoy on its own, with moderate alcohol of 12.5%, or pair with light pasta dishes, composed salads, or fish.
