The past week has been filled with emotions. We have such incredible sadness over the senseless shooting in Texas, frustration with the system that allows this to happen, concern over who and where is next, and grief for the country.

On the other side, we are filled with wonderful joy and love after celebrating our anniversary with dear friends in a place filled with beauty. Gary and I sat together many times over the past few days just being grateful and appreciative of the love we have, believing now more than ever you need to tell those you care about how much you love them. Bring them together around your table, break bread and enjoy each other.

And, this Memorial Day, remember those that we have lost. Take a moment to recognize the gifts they shared when they were with us. Tomorrow we will have a few new wines to toast with. But for today, we raise a glass to you.
