We’re Cooking: Rainy Day Soups

Tortilla Soup

One day it is beautiful and sunny…the next it is cold and rainy – one thing about living in Dallas is that within an hour or two days can transition from dreary to gorgeous…or as in today, the other way around. If you need something warm and comforting on this rainy day here are a few of my favorite soup recipes to cozy up to today.

Smoky Turkey Soup

White Bean and Lentil Soup

Mushroom Soup with Cheddar Rosemary Toasts

Spiced Butternut Squash Soup with Lump Crab Meat

Chicken Soup

Brothy Asian Soup

Rain, rain go away….we are on record for having the rainiest November in history in Dallas, which 2015 has also been the rainiest year. If you are still entertaining family this weekend, and have seen every movie you wanted to and can’t stomach chicken wings and nachos for football feasting, try one of these healthy, easy and delicious soup options to warm you on this rainy day. And open a really good bottle to pair and celebrate the start of the holiday season. Cheers!
