Few things bring us as much joy as helping out a friend, and Gary and I got to do this with 140 other friends when we joined together for our 5th annual Dallas Uncorked wine dinner benefiting The June Jones Foundation on July 30 at Sevy’s with wines sponsored by Hope Family Wines, and a generous sponsorship by Mr. Vic Salvino.

We are still working through the numbers but we are confident we will be able to match our donation last year to June for his foundation….and maybe even a little bit more, making our total over $55K given the past 5 years for this little dinner of 100-140 guests, thanks in part to the success of our incredible silent auction items – like the 2 night stay at Domaine Serene in Willamette Valley donated by Domaine Serene, a 3L Jeroboam of Raymond Estate Cabernet Sauvignon donated by Raymond, a Magnum of Pali Pinot Noir signed by the winemaker from Pali, and of course everyone’s favorite – SMU sideline football passes donated by June and SMU athletics.
