I am so honored to be a part of an incredible organization of strong women, supporting other women.
Two years ago I was invited to join the Dallas Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International, a non-profit organization made up of outstanding, professional women who have excelled in their careers in culinary arts, fine beverage and hospitality. Somehow I made it in….and though just being around these women, like Chefs Janice Provost, Joanne Bondy, Tiffany Derry, Sharon Hage, Sommelier Courtney Luscher, Mixologist Leann Berry and 90+ more great women in our community, our real goal is to help other women through scholarships to advance their education in these chosen fields. As we know, if you help a women elevate themselves you often help so many more, including her children, family and community.
April 3 we host our annual Raiser Grazer event to help raise funds for these scholarships. This year, our 35th as a Chapter in the organization, we host a “Dame Good Celebration,” with a bit of a French theme, at the Dallas Farmers Market. The walk around event will feature tastings from our Chef Dames, cocktails from our fantastic Dame Mixologists, wines from our Wine Dames and a slew of additional beverages with a bit of a French theme…some incredible wines from Bordeaux, Loire, Rhone, Provence and more. Additionally we will feature several local beers, a wine and cake pull, music, live auction (with our favorite auctioneer & emcee, Gary Cogill.)
We hope you can join us! Tickets are $80 and available here.
