Join Dallas Uncorked Sunday, December 10 at 7pm for our annual Harvest Holiday Celebration, this year featuring the beautiful sparkling and still wines of Domaine Carneros by Taittinger at Salum Restaurant. Tickets here.
We are thrilled to have Winemaker Eileen Crane, the Doyene of Sparkling Wine in California, join us for this special evening toasting some of her lively, delicious sparklers, as well as a few select still Pinot Noir wines from their sustainably farmed Carneros Estate.
In the 1970’s, Champagne house, Taittinger, began looking for the ideal location for their California sister winery. In 1987 they found their 138-acre estate to produce their ultra-premium, traditional method sparklers. 2017 marks the 30th anniversary of the winery, and 40th vintage for their incredible winemaker.
Chef Abraham Salum will expertly pair each of our selections with his international farm to table cuisine, drawing inspiration from his vast travels and background for our multi-course dinner event. Some of the key wines we will feature include Domaine Carneros zero dosage Ultra Brut, their dreamy Le Reve Blanc de Blanc and stellar Famous Gate Pinot Noir.
The event will benefit the Dallas Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International, helping educate women in the fields of hospitality, food and fine beverage through grants and scholarships. I am a proud member of the Chapter and thrilled to be able to give back to women in our community through this event. A secondary donation will go to The Stewpot, a long time donation recipient for this dinner, helping feed the hungry of Dallas. As our hearts are heavy for the people of Houston and the tragedy left after Hurricane Harvey, and the destruction of multiple earthquakes in Mexico, an additional donation will be given to help the people affected most by both of these disasters.
Tickets are $110 through November 18, 2017; $125 through December 10, if available, linked here. No refunds. Must be 21 to attend. Dallas Uncorked is a 501c3 non-profit educational organization.
